As I go through my Bloglovin’ feed and read other bloggers’ wishlists and reviews of 2015 travels, I can’t help but think about where else I want to go in 2016. I tell you, once you are bitten by the travel bug you can’t shake it. Here is my 2016 travel wishlist. Some holidays are already booked, some are definitely doable, and others may just be in my daydreams.
Yeah, I am featuring it again because I am so excited for my island holiday in February. Six days of massages, poolside cocktails and seeing my sponsor child again. I am also looking forward to photographing Bali like I never have before.
I’m telling you, 2016 is going to be the year I visit all of Australia’s states and territories. South Australia is the last state that is to be ticked off this list, so I hope to do a long weekend in Adelaide sometime this year to fulfil this goal. It doesn’t hurt the city is a super quick flight from Melbourne.

I hope to get back to Brisbane sometime in 2016 too. I haven’t been back to my former home in three years, so I am overdue a visit. Plus, I have friends and a brother living in the city, so a weekend full of food and catch ups sounds pretty ideal.

Singapore was on the shortlist of places I wanted to visit for my birthday, but Bali won. Nevertheless, I am still EXTREMELY keen to visit this city. I don’t know if it will happen this year, but this post is titled where I want to go, so…

I visited New Zealand’s South Island 10 years ago (way to make me feel old) and I would love to go back again. I have been hearing only good things about Wellington, although I wouldn’t be against a return to Queenstown either. I will just keep checking the sales fares and see what happens.

Fiji/Vanuatu/The South Pacific
Okay, so I just want to go to the South Pacific and I don’t have an island preference. It is just so close to Australia but I think I have always prioritised Bali over Fiji or Vanuatu (sorry not sorry). So will 2016 be the year I am sipping cocktails on the beach in Fiji?

This is a wanderlust wishlist, so I know not all of these adventures will take place. But it’s good to have destinations in mind when stalking airfares. I am linking up this month with Emma, Angie and Jessi.
