In an effort to blog more, I wanted to breakdown my monthly Hayley Lately posts into weekly segments. Each week I will share some happy moments: what I’ve been blogging, reading, watching and doing in beautiful Vancouver. Let’s just call it my weekly gratitude journal.
My neighbourhood is pretty on a sunny, fall day
♥ This week has seen me sitting at this computer A LOT, searching for new writing opportunities. I will keep you updated on my progress!
♥ I was so fortunate my friend invited me to his family’s Thanksgiving dinner on Monday night. I obviously loved the selection of food on offer, and it was nice to just celebrate the occasion.
♥ I wanted to get out of the house on Tuesday and go for a walk while the weather was (actually) nice. I ended up finding this beautiful trail near the water not too far away. There were even a few parks in the area too. I’ll be going back for sure.
♥ Viewing-wise, I’m a little bit interested in the new show, Conviction. Has anyone else watched it? I like the unusual mix of characters, which I think will work as the season continues.
♥ I also finally got around to watching Me Before You last night. Even though I’ve read the book and knew the ending, I still cried. But it was a great adaptation and Emilia Clarke was perfect for the lead role. I am currently reading the sequel, After You.

This week includes a shopping trip to a new outlet centre and a little bit of work (to pay for the shopping…)
