Hayley’s Travel Hack – Webjet App Review

My family have been long time fans of Webjet. For those who don’t know what this jet of the web is, Webjet is a travel booking website. Customers can quickly compare flights, hotels and packages to ensure they secure the best deal. I especially love that it is an Australian company, which just so happens to be based right here in Melbourne. It was founded by the former Chief Executive of Jetstar Travel, David Clarke.

It is currently Webjet Mobile App Month and to celebrate I was asked to review the mobile app and share my thoughts. The app is free to download and allows customers to compare flights and hotels worldwide.

The Webjet App Benefits

• The app is very easy to use. You simply follow the prompts, choose your filters and sort method (you bet I choose cheapest first) and you will be comparing flights in no time. I don’t like complicated and tech-heavy apps, so Webjet gets the tick of approval from me. It is also easy in the fact customers do not need to check five different websites to find the cheapest flights. Press a couple of buttons on your ride to work and voilà, the best deals come direct to you .

• The Webjet app is secure. After you have compared flights or hotels you can purchase them too, all on your phone. The payment process is easy to follow and customers can feel safe knowing their payment information will remain secure.

• It sticks to its promise. Case in point: I decided to look at flights from Melbourne to Denpasar in June 2016. You know me, always Bali dreaming. However, I chose this destination and time period as I knew Jetstar was having a sale. I wanted to test the Webjet app to ensure I was definitely getting the best bargain. Webjet lived up to its promise and showed me flights from many different airlines, including Jetstar and Air Asia. It listed the same price I had seen on the Jetstar website, which by the way was ridiculous at like $170 one way. Woh. I thought this case study demonstrated how Webjet works to get you the best deal.

• The hotel features. During my Bali moment, I also checked hotels for the same time. The main thing I loved about the hotel search was the provided maps. As I have been to Bali a few times, I could easily see where the specific hotel was located, compared to my ideal area. It was very beneficial.

Overall, I highly recommend the (did I mention FREE?) Webjet app to all travel addicts. It is the best and simplest way to ensure you always get the best bargain on flights, hotels and packages. I always feel better when I know I got the cheapest deal — budget traveller much? To download the app for yourself, click on the links below.
